learned friend and his frank admission of the same. The incident surprised all who wondered at Baba's masterful way of working, and bringing things around as he wished and willed, a proof positive, among many they have had, of His Perfection!

Gabriel Pascal, the famous producer, and a wonderful person, arrived from America and saw Baba today for the first time. He had a long conversation for over an hour with Baba, and related to him how he felt an unseen power all these years, how he recognized that it was Baba when he heard about Baba for the first time, and then felt him within more and more before seeing him physically, in a way he himself couldn't well understand and wished all the while to work for Baba through pictures, with his wonderful experience. But the moment he saw Baba physically he fell for him and said repeatedly how deeply, how fully, he felt Baba now, in his august Presence. "It was all wonderful, wonderful — too wonderful for words," he said. His entire speech and talk may be summed up in the final remarks that he repeatedly made: "Up 'til now I felt at times rather nervous and hesitant about such a big undertaking and venture, but now that I have seen you I am confident, and I will do it now, Master!"

Dr. Vollmoeller, too, has had some wonderful experiences of Baba's inner working and his ways, that have enabled him to realize and appreciate Baba's great, divine powers, and as reported by Pascal, is quite a different person by now, having had an 'understanding' of Baba's greatness, and his own insignificant 'nothingness' in spite of his being a writer of great fame, and has now begun to write something as suggested by Baba, and quite different from what he himself wrote at first, and which he first felt hesitant to change.

Pascal expressed his utter surprise at the change he had seen in his friend, and the results of the experience he had passed through as narrated by himself. Baba let Pascal speak out first his own heart and feelings, and then instructed him on his future work with regard to the picture. Thus, the day passed entirely in the work of discussion about the picture with, of course, occasional visits for a few moments to the family and other near and around him almost all the time. The usual 'spiritual repast' as a dessert after the supper was, of course, enjoyed by all in his blessed presence!

In short, both these backbones of the film project, Gabriel Pascal and Dr. Vollmoeller with their years of experience in this line, seem to have fallen for Baba. His personal contact and influence have worked for them wonderfully and brought about a change in them both. They have now learned through personal experiences to understand him and his ways, and inspired by the confidence aroused in them by Baba's love and contact, both of them are now beginning to work hard day and night to make this picture the only one of its kind with their wonderful experiences in the technique and art of picture production.

Norina and Elizabeth with Mrs. Elsie Domville will represent Baba in the West, looking after the business side of the picture production on behalf of Baba. Their splendid work and sacred cause are really admirable and speak of their immense love and devotion to Baba.

July 9th: Another busy day in discussion about the film work that occupied hours. The family and visitors had to be content with the crumbs of occasional glimpses and a few words with Baba when he came down for a few moments to 'feed the sheep' who were starving and craving for the food they needed — his august Presence in their midst even for a few moments, at intervals. This evening Baba gave them two hours of the silent communion, after supper.

July 10th: Discussions regarding the film work continued — a most laborious task. Baba had to look into every minute detail of the various phases of the great venture into which they were launched. The mere spiritual theme involved problems none could have an idea of. To include this in a story or stories of different lives and incarnations of the principal and other characters, which must be appealing to all universally, i.e. to scientists philosophers, spiritualists, aspirants and the general masses, is no small task. Then there were various important questions or problems regarding the selection of characters
