Let us all seriously pray: "O GOD, HELP US ALL. TO HOLD ON TO MEHER BABA'S DAAMAN TILL THE VERY END."
There is a sort of reciprocal promise made by God in verse 30, of Chapter VI of the Bhagavad Gita and let us remind ourselves and remind Baba also (in our love to Him as His children) of that:
"He who seeth Me everywhere, and seeth everything in Me,
Of him will I never lose hold, and he shall never lose hold of ME.”
"BE TRUE TO THE TRUST I REPOSE IN YOU AND REMEMBER ME WHOLEHEARTEDLY. MY LOVE AND BLESSINGS TO YOU" "ALL TALK ABOUT THE PATH AND THE GOAL IS AS A LANTERN CARRIED BY A BLIND MAN. A BLIND MAN NEEDS A STAFF IN HIS HAND: THE SEEKER NEEDS HIS HAND IN GOD-MAN'S."
"MY LOVE BLESSING TO ALL MY LOVERS IN DELHI ASSEMBLED IN MY LOVE, IN LOVING REMEMBRANCE OF THE AVATAR ON 25TH FEBRUARY STOP BLESSED ARE THEY WHO HAVE TAKEN PART IN SPREADING MY MESSAGE OF LOVE AND TRUTH."
Messages from Avatar Meher Baba to the New Delhi Group February 25, 1965:
The "Will it—Won't it " heartbeats of Meher Baba lovers wondering whether there would be an Eastern Sahavas this May or not, came to a sudden standstill—or cardiac arrest—today when Baba's car turned into the narrow lane leading to the Avatar Meher Baba Poona Centre. Long before dawn, Baba lovers were seen like bees swarming to their hive at the Poona Centre, from different parts of India, Iran, Pakistan and Aden. Several lovers from the West were also present. Dr. Ben Hayman, Mr. Joseph H. Harb, Dr. Harry Kenmore came from the United States. Mr. Peter Rowan and his wife Helen came from Australia.
As Baba's car honked its way through the narrow lane where Baba lovers were massed on both sides, loud cheers of "Avatar Meher Baba Ki Jai' rang out. Meher Baba alighted from his car at the Centre at 7:55 A.M.
