Baba said that the first (Andhra) group would come first at 2:30 and be with Him for about an hour, and as the Prayer Hall is not sufficient for the total number of the Telegu group, they might assemble in the Meeting-pandal. Thereafter, Baba would adjourn to the Prayer Hall where the Gujarati group and the English-speaking group could meet Him.
At 11:45 a .m. (forenoon), Baba permitted Yogi Shuddhananda Bharati to sing the English poem composed by him on Baba, with musical accompaniments, tomorrow on Baba's birthday and he will thereafter place it at Baba's feet. Baba appreciated the poem very much.
Baba: "Tomorrow, all of you should be present here. The best will be to do as I tell you. Those who want to read and present addresses may do so. Time is limited and so let not each one try to read an address or ask to sing."
The concluding Arti songs, one in Telugu and another in Gujarati, were sung and Baba left the Meeting-pandal and adjourned to his cabin in the camp at about 12:20 p.m. (noon).
Baba again emphasized that the ladies were important in this Sahavas. He said, “The men owe this Sahavas to the women. Many women who should have been here could not come because they had children to look after and domestic responsibilities. How I wish that you men had stayed at home looking after the homes and the children and allowed the ladies to come in larger numbers!"
Afternoon: Group Meetings
The first group (Telegu-speaking) had their interview between 2:30 p.m. and 3:40 p.m. in the Meeting-pandal. The second group (Gujarati-speaking) had an interview between 3:45 and 4:40. The third group (English-speaking), that is, who did not speak Telugu or Gujarati at home, had their interview from 4:40 to 5:15 p.m.
In all the groups, the men and women assembled together. The ladies sat on one wing and the gentlemen at the other wing in front of Baba and all squatted on the floor, Baba alone sitting on a chair. The second and the third groups assembled in the Prayer Hall, while the first group assembled in the Meeting-hall.
