“(iii)   When you feel happy, think 'Baba wants me to be happy'; when you suffer, think 'Baba           wants me to suffer.'

"(iv)    Be resigned to every situation and think honestly and sincerely 'Baba has placed me in            this situation.'

“(v)     With understanding that Baba is in every one, try to help and serve others."

Baba continued: "I tell you all with My Divine Authority that whosoever—any one and every one—takes My name (has My name) on his lips at the time he or she breathes his or her last, comes to Me.

"Therefore, do not forget to remember Me at that time when you would be breathing your last. Unless you take My name on your lips (remember Me from now on constantly) and keep it up continuously, you cannot remember Me and keep My name on your lips at the time you drop your body. Even if you take My name once a day with all your heart and soul, it is sufficient. You will thus ultimately 'come to Me' (come back to Me)."

Baba: "Now, we have finished with spirituality for the day. Let us come to the worldly plane a little. The time is now 10:45 a.m. It has come to My notice that last evening there was confusion and dissension over the 24 persons to be chosen to wash My feet, and the placing of love-offerings at My feet tomorrow.* I have a solution for both matters and I think it will satisfy everyone of you. For many years, the lovers of the neighboring village of Arangaon go on foot to Toka—a place which is 45 miles from here and where there is the confluence of two sacred rivers (the river Godavari and another river) and bring sacred river-water therefrom, carried in vessels hung on bamboo poles and kept over their shoulders as they walk back the 45 miles. They observe fast (live only on liquid diet) and keep themselves pure after bathing, etc. Some of them are Harijans (the so-called 'untouchables'). This they have been doing every birthday of Mine and usually, I would not be here on My birthday. They would sprinkle the sacred water on My photos, and at the other places associated with Me, and return to their homes in the village and worship My pictures. When I happen to remain here on My birthday, I allow them to come and pay their respects to Me. But these villagers go every year to Toka and get the water, whether I am here or not.

"Tomorrow, we expect these villagers here with the sacred water from the river at Toka—about a dozen persons will come, perhaps more. Pendu has been instructed to send them with the water here to this Meeting-pandal.
