I have made several tours in that capacity and have always taken every convenient opportunity to mention Baba and quote some of His teachings, thus reaching several hundreds of fresh people.

I have found that it has not been necessary to leave my connection with the T.S. — in fact it has been broadened and deepened. You see, the T. S. is an organized body, with centers all over the free world. You could say it was like a series of ready-made irrigation ditches along which the love and wisdom of Baba can flow. As He has said Himself, He intends to draw all religions and philosophies together like beads on a string; and I feel myself that whatever organization we belong to, there is no need to leave it so long as we try to spread the message that Baba is bringing us.

Although I have had a firm conviction of the existence of the Masters since 1918, I had never, until I met Baba, consciously come into contact with any of them physically. Nor do I feel that that matters very much, because if we are working for the ideals that they have put before us, then the inner-plane contact is made and will remain with us.

To me, the fact that Baba has come to this plane does not mean that Theosophy—the Divine Wisdom — will ever leave us, or that the Theosophical Society will cease to exist. On the contrary, it will, I think, become increasingly a channel for the new impetus that is being given to all the affairs of our planet.

Baba's Discourses present Theosophy — the Divine Wisdom — with great completeness but in a wonderfully simplified form, so that probably a larger number of ordinary people will be able to grasp it than could imbibe the somewhat intellectual presentation given out by the Theosophical movements. An Avatar will be universal and not tied to one religion.

All Baba's Discourses and messages have the warmth of the heart, as well as the amazing intellectual appreciation of all our problems. Personally, I have several times noticed that when family, national, or world problems began to oppress me, and I have mentally thought of Baba and consulted Him — and this can be done in a flash — the situation has generally eased afterwards, sometimes in quite a remarkable manner.

I think what is needed is that we should so to speak, turn on the electric switch within ourselves, so that the current of Baba's influence can flow through us and illumine not only us but all in our neighborhood.
