At 9:50 a.m., Mr. G. S. N. Moorty of Kharagpur (West Bengal State) read an address in English. He is a spirited and ardent lover of Baba and a good speaker in English and Hindi. He has taken Baba's permission and blessings to start a new English journal in India titled, “THE EMBRACE." *
At 9:55 a.m., Mr. Burjor Mehta read an address in Gujarati which was a free translation of the address read by the "Grand Old Man" of Andhra.
At 10:00, Dr. Anandan of Kerala State read a short address followed by an address in Marathi from Mrs. Deshmukh of Nagpur. At 10:10 Mr. Dhake Phalkar, one of the close mandali and one of the "stalwarts," read an address in Marathi. He represented the first week's group. During the reading Mr. Dhake could not contain his emotions, his voice became choked and he burst into tears also. Mr. and Mrs. Dhake offered the address to Baba and jointly garlanded Him, as all the earlier ones did also. At this stage Baba remarked that we should stop the addresses, as there was not sufficient time left and there were other programs to be gone through.
"O Sun of Compassion, let your eyes open the petals of the of the lotuses of our minds; and let all the directions be filled with their fragrance. O Merciful Cloud of Swathi, let the pearls of our knowledge be perfect with your shower of Mercy.
"Let the Light-touch of your Moun (silence) produce sweet sounds on the harp of our hearts. Let our love for you bind and keep controlled the big elephant-king of jealousy and hatred.
“So, now,if our eyes are to see anything, let them see Your Form only. If my ears are to listen to anything, and if my tongue is to utter anything, let it be Your Name and praise only, and if our minds are to think of anything, let them think of You only . We solicit Your Grace for the fulfillment of this our desire.
"Yashoda was great on account of Lord Krishna and the race of women is great on account of Yashoda—because she was one of them. We are blessed and very happy today on account of her being by Your side, and amongst us (as Godavari Mata).
