mind. Experiences so acquired are like blinking lights piling more gloom on gloom. How can a blind man lead the blind?

There are few real saints. Amongst these few, those having spiritual authority or adhikar are fewer still. During the time of grave world crisis there is only one born with a Divine Authority to lead humanity from darkness to light, from ignorance to knowledge and from chaos to peace.

Baba said recently: "Do not worry. Be happy in My love and continue to hold fast to my 'daaman' to the very end. Rest assured that all will be Divinely well. God does not abandon those who trust Him. They who love Me and obey Me as I should be loved and obeyed, will one day be similarly loved and obeyed."

We are fortunate that the Infinite Divine has willed it and we have a great opportunity that comes only between seven and fifteen hundred years. The Infinite Heart has come down to us embodied in a human form. The God of Infinite Love has become the Beloved of human hearts. The God of Infinite Love is knocking at your heart, the door of your soul. Take heed and in full ready response admit Him to be seated within you forever, filling your entire being with unchanging blessedness and unfading love.

Adi tells us "Baba's Birthday was celebrated with great love and vigor by different Baba Centers all over India and at Karachi, Pakistan. Baba permitted celebrations and informed all there would be no celebration at Meherazad, where He presently stays and also at Meherabad, and that Baba Himself would not attend any celebrations, including one by Avatar Meher Baba Center at Ahmednagar, situated in my house-office compound. It is only one year since the above center has been inaugurated and this is the second Birthday Celebration. One of the very exceptional programs was a gathering of poets called "Mushadra" from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. The poets, called "Shayars," were given a line called "tare-misra," which means "How could all be fortunate to have the proximity of the threshold of Hazrat Meher Baba?" The poets from various places who gathered here had composed poems on the rhyme of the given line and one after another recited at the assembly. The poets longed for Baba's presence which was not possible. It is a novel way introduced to get Mohammedans interested in reading Baba's works. In the Mohammedan world at Ahmednagar, the program carried out was much talked about as very successful."
