example. We believe Baba to be the Perfect Master who reveals the Knowledge of God, the Ultimate Reality. Baba has said, 'The feeling and inspiration for things sublime and the Divine Love are imparted by a real Messiah to anyone who comes in contact with him." These are things we have experienced. Kabir tells us:
Baba said, in 1932: "My work is to lead others to reach the Goal; to live in the world and not to be of it; and to be in harmony with everything and everyone." Harmony was what Baba stressed most in Nasik.
To the question “Is it not the personal Baba that you love?” The answer is "Surely — surely it is because Baba says what has been said before. The importance is because he is the living Christ and while we love the personal in all its aspects, we love the Impersonal."
Baba has said: "I am the Highest of the High and want you to love Me not for any spiritual gain, nor for the impending breaking of My silence and My manifestation but I want you to love Me for Myself, as being God in human form."
Also, he has repeatedly said: "I come down to your level to draw you up to mine. I use Maya (Illusion) to bring you out of Maya. Feelings and emotions are the creation of the mind, Love the creation of the Soul."
As Elizabeth states, "But Baba always lets happen that which is prompted by the human heart."
During the earlier stages, Baba uses Maya to awaken the Divine Love in the Soul — its inherent nature; draws upon feelings and emotions, to bring us out of Maya. Thus he kindles the spark through natural means, keeping it aglow with his own Infinite Love until the day when, with a quickened soul-consciousness, both feeling and emotion are gradually transmuted. As, in the words of Shri Ramakrishna, "We love most when we are least conscious of loving."
To bring this change of consciousness into being, God has personified His love in the God-man, Messiah or Avatar, and given His Infinite Love a Personality attractive above all else known to man with its radiant power to draw.
Said Jesus, A.D. 33―”I, if I be lifted up will draw all men unto me."
