at Rajahmundry and all workers, important and petty, were advised to assemble on order from Baba at Navabharathi Gurukulam during the quiet hours of the night of the 1st and morning of the 2nd March.

 

All that transpired during the meeting held from 9 p.m. on 1st March and lasting till 3 a.m. of March 2nd was of utmost importance to all. Although Baba apparently seemed all the time to be addressing the workers of Andhra State and the Mandali who were with Him at the time, yet it was an obvious fact that all that Baba explained and emphasized during the six hours of the meeting was meant for all in general who loved Baba and for all those who sought an opportunity to work for the Divine Cause, spreading far and wide Baba's eternal Message of Love.

 

The great significance and the utmost importance of the meeting and its lasting effect could be easily gauged from the very words of Baba that were dictated by His index finger moving deftly and in quick succession all over His board.

 

The meeting commenced with Baba at the outset pointing out at the letters on the board which spelt out the introduction as follows:

 

"Tonight is a very important night.

 

"Tonight's is no political or social meeting. This meeting for which I have ordered you all to assemble here, and which is the first of its kind that I have held in these sixty years of my life, is for the Divine Cause, and it reminds me of my former meetings during my previous Incarnations. During those periods, the circumstances were different; but since eternity the same God-incarnate has been presiding over the meetings for the same cause—the Divine Cause. It has never been truer than in the Spiritual Cause that 'history repeats itself.'

 

"Even if this meeting takes all night to complete the work on hand, I would not feel unhappy because this one night would be worth millions of nights if you all honestly act up to what I want to emphasize tonight. The Apostles and the 'Asahabs' who worked for My Cause did the work at the cost of everything, even at the cost of life itself. So, listen very carefully and be very attentive.
